Recertification and Annual Maintenance Application Reminder
NCTRC would like to remind you that
the deadline for submitting your recertification application and
annual maintenance application is quickly approaching. For those
individuals who need to recertify this May, you should have already
received a reminder postcard in the mail. Please remember to have
your recertification application postmarked prior to May 1, 2010
to avoid the $50.00 recertification fee. NCTRC will accept applications
after May 1 and up to the expiration date of June 30, 2010 with
the submission of the recertification fee. Please note: NCTRC can
not accept recertification applications after the June 30, 2010
deadline.
Annual
Maintenance Applications should be sent as soon as possible to ensure
that there is no disruption in your active CTRS status. Please note:
Annual Maintenance Applications must be postmarked by June 30, 2010
to avoid the $25.00 reinstatement fee.
Here
are some important Recertification reminders:

a letter requesting that you submit your original, official documents
to NCTRC .
- You
can submit your recertification application online at www.NCTRC.org
. Please go to My
NCTRC Login for more information.
- Make
a copy of the completed application and keep it for your records.

it by certified, return-receipt mail.
- A
letter of verification is required if the 480 hour TR work requirement
is met with either part time or volunteer work.
- All continuing
education hours must total 50 hours
over the five year period and correspond to one of the
NCTRC Job Analysis Knowledge Codes (FKW – Foundational Knowledge;
